Ingredients

  • 10 medjool dates pits removed
  • 5 strips bacon each cut in half
  • 10-12 tsp goat cheese
  • drizzle of maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F and spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Make a slit in all your dates with a small paring knife and remove the pit. Using a small spoon, stuff each date with approximately 1 teaspoon goat cheese.
  • Shut the date as much as you can and wrap in half a piece of bacon strip. Stick a toothpick through it to secure.
  • Drizzle maple syrup or honey over the dates and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping them at the half way point. The bacon should be crispy.
  • Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve.
