- 1-2 tbsp caramel sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar-free vanilla syrup
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 shots espresso
- Optional - more caramel sauce for drizzling
Grab a tall glass and drizzle the sides and bottom with caramel sauce. This is going to give you that signature sweet touch in every sip. Be generous.
Fill the glass with ice cubes. Then pour in your milk of choice over the ice. If you want it exactly like Starbucks, use 2% milk.
Stir in the vanilla syrup.
Brew a double shot of espresso. If not, strong brewed coffee works just fine. The key is to have a nice, bold coffee flavor.
Pour the espresso over the back of a spoon onto the milk. This helps it to layer nicely on top, creating that beautiful macchiato look. If it mixes a bit, no worries, it’ll still taste amazing.
Finish off your drink with a generous drizzle of caramel sauce on top. If you’re feeling extra fancy, add a dollop of whipped cream before the caramel drizzle.
