Ingredients

  • 1-2 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free vanilla syrup
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 shots espresso
  • Optional - more caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  • Grab a tall glass and drizzle the sides and bottom with caramel sauce. This is going to give you that signature sweet touch in every sip. Be generous.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes. Then pour in your milk of choice over the ice. If you want it exactly like Starbucks, use 2% milk.
    Stir in the vanilla syrup.
  • Brew a double shot of espresso. If not, strong brewed coffee works just fine. The key is to have a nice, bold coffee flavor.
  • Pour the espresso over the back of a spoon onto the milk. This helps it to layer nicely on top, creating that beautiful macchiato look. If it mixes a bit, no worries, it’ll still taste amazing.
  • Finish off your drink with a generous drizzle of caramel sauce on top. If you’re feeling extra fancy, add a dollop of whipped cream before the caramel drizzle.
