Frozen Cauliflower Wings in the Air Fryer (Crispy + Easy)
How to cook frozen cauliflower wings straight from the bag in the air fryer — 400°F for 12–15 minutes, single layer, flip halfway, and they come out genuinely crispy in a way the oven can't match. Vegan, gluten-free, and the game day snack I make constantly.

- 1 package frozen cauliflower wings
- avocado oil spray
- dipping sauce ranch, blue cheese, buffalo sauce
Preheat to 400°F for 3–5 minutes. A properly preheated air fryer starts crisping the coating immediately rather than letting the wings slowly come up to temperature and steam.
Single layer in the basket. Place the frozen wings in a single layer — don't overlap or stack. The coating crisps because hot air circulates around every piece. Overlapping means the touching sides stay soft. Cook in batches if you have a full bag.
Light oil spray (optional). A 2-second spray of avocado oil over the tops gives the coating a noticeably better golden color and crunch. Skip it if you prefer to go as-is — they'll still be good.
Air fry at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping at the halfway mark (6–7 minutes). After the flip, the bottom side should be golden and slightly firm. The wings are done when the coating is crispy and golden on both sides — check at 12 minutes and add time if needed.
Serve immediately. Frozen cauliflower wings lose their crunch faster than chicken wings as they cool. Eat them straight out of the air fryer with your dipping sauce. If you're cooking batches for a party, stagger them so each batch comes out right when people are ready to eat.
