- 3 bananas
- ¾ cup plain greek yogurt can also use flavored greek yogurt and omit the honey
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp halloween sprinkles
Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a popsicle stick or skewer into each banana piece, making sure it’s secure.
In a bowl, mix the plain Greek yogurt with a bit of honey if you want some extra sweetness. This step is optional but recommended for a sweeter treat.
Dip each banana piece into the yogurt mixture, using a small spoon to help coat it evenly.
Roll the yogurt-coated banana in your choice of toppings if using. Try Halloween sprinkles, granola for crunch, mini chocolate chips for a treat, or shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
Place the banana pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Put the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until the yogurt is fully frozen.
Once the banana pops are frozen, they’re ready to enjoy! Store any extras in a freezer-safe container for a quick and healthy snack anytime.
Store banana pops in a freezer-safe airtight container with parchment between the layers for up to one week.
Serving – Take them out 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Straight from the freezer, the banana is hard enough to be unpleasant, and that short thaw is the difference between a good one and a disappointing one.
