- 300 g macaroni of choice
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Boil macaroni in salted water according to package directions. Cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a blender combine the cottage cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, cornstarch, salt and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour the blended cheese mixture into a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
Add the cooked macaroni to the saucepan. Stir to coat all the pasta evenly with the cheese sauce.
