Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 1 taco seasoning package

Instructions

  • Place your chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour the salsa over the top and sprinkle the taco seasoning all over. Mix well to make sure the chicken is coated.
  • Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • When the chicken is done, grab two forks and shred it right in the pot. The chicken will be so tender, it’ll practically shred itself! Stir it around to soak up the salsa-taco seasoning flavor.
  • Serve this salsa chicken over rice, pile it into tacos, wrap it in burritos, or throw it on a salad. It’s so versatile, you can enjoy it a different way every night!
