Ingredients

  • 50 green grapes
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 scoop Sour Grape Clear Protein from 1UP Nutrition can use code BAILS at checkout to save 20% off - see notes below
  • 1 tbsp granulated monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 tbsp malic acid powder see notes below

Instructions

  • Prep grapes – Wash and dry grapes completely.
  • Add lime juice – Place grapes in a large bowl and drizzle with lime juice, tossing to coat evenly.
  • Mix coating – In another bowl, combine Sour Grape Clear Protein, monk fruit sweetener, and malic acid.
  • Coat grapes – Toss the lime-coated grapes in the dry mix until fully covered. Taste them, and if they're not sour enough I like to sprinkle more malic acid over them.
  • Freeze – Arrange grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
  • Serve – Enjoy straight from the freezer for the ultimate chewy, frosty, sour-sweet snack.

Sour Grape or Sour Candy Watermelon Clear Protein will both work for this recipe. Use code BAILS at checkout to save 20%.
I get my malic acid off Amazon, but I'm sure you can also find it in certain grocery stores.
