Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • cup cashew butter
  • ½ cup sugar-free maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • cup almond flour
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Heat your oven to 350°F and line a small baking dish with parchment paper. An 8x8 inch baking dish, bread loaf pan or round cake tin will all work for this recipe.
  • In a food processor, blend chickpeas, cashew butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  • Stir in almond flour until fully combined. Then fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter into your prepared baking dish, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top, and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  • Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before adding them to the refrigerator for minimum 1 hour, preferably overnight. Then slice into squares. Enjoy!
