- 3 tbsp chocolate chips - can use chocolate candy melts as well
- ½ tsp coconut oil - omit if using candy melts
- 2 shots espresso
- ½ cup milk
- Optional - flavor syrup coffee creamer, etc.
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second increments or over a double boiler until smooth. You can use dark, milk, or white chocolate—whatever you prefer.
Pour the melted chocolate inside of the plastic cup, tilting and rotating the cup to coat the sides evenly. Pour out any excess chocolate.
Place the chocolate-coated plastic cup in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set.
Make a double shot of espresso or a small cup of strong coffee.
Take the frozen chocolate-coated cup out of the freezer. Fill the chocolate cup with ice cubes.
Pour your brewed coffee over the ice. Then add the milk. If you want to add flavor syrups or sweetener you can.
Put the lid on the plastic cup and gently squeeze, letting the chocolate shell break apart into your latte.
If you’re feeling extra indulgent, add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
