- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- ⅓ cup vanilla icing
- 1 bag white candy melts 12 oz
- Mini chocolate chips for the eyes & buttons
- Orange sprinkles or orange candy melts for nose
Start by preparing your cake batter by package directions. Pour the batter into two greased 8×8-inch round cake dishes and bake in a 350 degree F oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it with a fork in a large bowl. Stir the frosting into the crumbled cake.
Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into smooth balls. Aim for two different sizes to create the snowman head and body. Freeze balls for 20 minutes or until firm.
Melt the white candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Dip cakepop sticks into the melted chocolate, then stick into the small frozen cake ball. Dip cakepop stick into the chocolate again, then add the larger ball to make snowman shape.
Freeze again for 10 minutes.
Dip each snowman into the white chocolate, making sure they are fully coated. Then allow excess chocolate to drip off.
While chocolate is still wet, attach mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons and an orange sprinkle for the nose.
Let set for 10-15 minutes and enjoy!
