High Protein Tiramisu Iced Latte

This high protein tiramisu iced latte is the viral café drink made with protein milk and a sugar-free mascarpone cold foam. Double espresso, vanilla, and a dusting of cocoa, with a fraction of the sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free vanilla syrup
  • ¾ cup 1% protein milk I used Dairyland
  • ice
  • 1 tbsp mascarpone or light cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp 1% protein milk
  • 1 tsp sugar-free vanilla syrup
  • 1 tsp sugar-free powdered sugar
  • cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  • Add the mascarpone, heavy cream, protein milk, sugar-free vanilla syrup, and sugar-free powdered sugar to a small bowl or tall cup.
  • Froth with a handheld frother until it thickens to soft peaks and mounds on the spoon, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the protein milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup and stir.
  • Pull a double shot of espresso, let it cool for a minute, then pour it over the milk.
  • Spoon the cold foam over the top and dust with cocoa powder. Drink it right away, while the foam is still sitting up.
