- 2 large chicken breasts sliced into strips
- ½ cup gluten-free all purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes cereal
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ cup hot honey
Prep the breading station - Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with panko mixed with seasonings.
Bread the chicken - Coat each tender in flour, then egg, then panko mixture, pressing the crumbs in so they stick.
Air fry - Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket and lightly spray with cooking spray. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temp).
Add the hot honey - Warm hot honey slightly so it’s pourable. Drizzle over chicken tenders right before serving, or toss them in a large bowl for full coverage. Serve with a side of ranch dipping sauce and enjoy.
