Ingredients

  • 2 large red bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch of salt & black pepper

Instructions

  • First, wash your red peppers and pat them dry. Then, cut them in half and remove the seeds and stems.
  • Lightly brush each pepper half with olive oil. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Place the pepper halves in the air fryer basket, skin side up. Make sure they're not overlapping for even cooking.
  • Set your air fryer to 350 degrees F and cook for about 18-20 minutes, or until the skins are nicely charred and the peppers are soft, flipping half way.
  • Once done, you can peel the skins off for a smoother texture, or leave them on for a bit of extra charred flavor - totally your call!
  • Serve these beauties as a side dish, chop them up for salads, or even blend into a delicious red pepper sauce.
