- 3 medium bananas
- 2 scoops chocolate peanut butter protein powder
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk depending which milk and protein powder you use, you may need more or less - start with 1/4 cup milk and add a tbsp at a time till you get the right consistency
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice bananas and arrange them in a single even layer, slightly overlapping to form a base.
In a bowl, mix the protein powder with almond milk. Start with ¼ cup milk, then add more one tablespoon at a time if needed until you get a smooth, spreadable consistency. You want something similar to peanut butter consistency. Spread the protein mixture evenly over the top of the bananas using a spoon or spatula. Add to freezer while you get the chocolate prepared.
Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the bananas and protein.
Sprinkle with peanuts and a pinch of sea salt if desired.
Place the tray in the freezer for about 1 hour, or until fully set.
Remove from the freezer and break into pieces. Enjoy straight from the freezer.
