Strawberry Protein Gummies

These Strawberry Protein Gummies are fruity, chewy, and made with real strawberries, lemon juice, and Strawberry Italian Ice Clear Protein for a sweet protein boost. Dry them at room temperature for a candy-like texture, or enjoy them soft and fresh from the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Strawberry Italian Ice Clear Protein from 1UP Nutrition use code BAILS at checkout to save 20% on all products - see notes for link
  • 14 oz filtered water
  • 5 tbsp gelatin
  • Optional: 1 tbsp malic acid this will yield a very sour gummy similar to a sour patch kid

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add the water and protein powder. Whisk well until fully dissolved. If using the malic acid to make sour gummies, whisk in now.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the top and let it sit for 2–3 minutes to bloom.
  • Place the saucepan over low heat and stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved (do not boil).
  • Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a parchment-lined dish.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  • Pop out of molds or cut into bite-sized pieces. Store the sour gummies in an airtight container in the fridge.
