Ingredients

Sub In A Tub

  • 1 small head iceburg lettuce
  • 8 slices deli turkey chopped
  • 8 slices deli spicy salami chopped
  • 8 slices deli peppered salami chopped
  • 8 slices provolone cheese chopped
  • 1 small tomato chopped
  • ½ red onion finely diced
  • ½ cup pickles chopped
  • ½ cup banana peppers chopped

Dressing

  • cup light mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Base - Add chopped lettuce to a large bowl or meal prep container.
  • Add the Protein - Layer your deli meats over the lettuce. You can chop them or leave them whole depending on preference.
  • Add Cheese and Veggies - Top with sliced cheese, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and banana peppers.
  • Add Dressing - In a small bowl combine the mayo, red wine vinegar, italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Drizzle all over.
  • Toss or Serve as Is - You can toss everything together like a salad or keep it layered and eat it like a deconstructed sub.
