Instructions
In a small saucepan, add the water, cherry juice, protein powder and super magnesium. Mix with hand frother until fully dissolved (can also use a wire whisk if desired).
Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the top and let it sit for 2–3 minutes to bloom.
Place the saucepan over low heat and stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved (do not boil).
Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a parchment-lined dish.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Pop out of molds (can find the ones I used here) or cut into bite-sized pieces. Store the sour gummies in an airtight container in the fridge.
Optional stepbut highly recommended: toss gummies in the monkfruit/malic acid mixture. Do not mix entire batch, just mix as you consume as it can change the texture of the gummies. This is VERY sour but adds that super sour candy flavor. Enjoy!
