HOW TO STORE THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Allow the cookies to cool completely before storing them. This prevents the cookies from becoming soggy.

Line an airtight container with wax paper, parchment paper or plastic wrap to prevent the cookies from sticking to the container.

Place the cookies in a single layer in the container. If you need to stack the cookies, separate each layer with wax paper or parchment paper.

Store the container of cookies at room temperature in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

You can also freeze the M&M cookies for longer-term storage. Place the cooled cookies in an airtight container or freezer bag, separating each layer with wax paper or parchment paper.

Label the container with the date and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months.

To thaw frozen cookies, remove them from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can reheat the cookies in the microwave for a few seconds to warm them up.
