FLAVOR IDEAS TO TRY

  • Classic Buttered Popcorn – Melt 2 tbsp of butter, mix with 1 tbsp of olive oil, and spritz it over your popcorn.

  • White Cheddar Vibes – Lightly spray with oil and sprinkle on cheese seasoning or nutritional yeast.

  • Sweet Kettle Corn – Add a mix of granulated sweetener and a pinch of salt.

  • Chocolate Popcorn – Toss in mini chocolate chips while the popcorn’s still warm.

  • Spicy Kick – Drizzle with sriracha or your fave hot sauce.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BEST RESULTS

  1. Only line the bottom of the air fryer basket — the air needs to circulate to pop the kernels.

  2. Don’t overload with kernels. If you’re making more, do it in batches.

  3. Skip the oil or flavoring until after the popcorn is done.

  4. Listen closely — once the popping slows, it’s time to stop!

STORING LEFTOVER AIR FRYER POPCORN

  • To store: Leftover popcorn can be stored at room temperature, in a sealable container or ziplock bag. It will remain fresh for up to 1 week.
  • To freeze: Do not freeze popcorn, as it will become soggy and soft.

FAQS

CAN I ADD BUTTER OR OIL TO MY KERNELS BEFORE ADDING TO THE AIR FRYER?

Yes, if you’d like your popcorn to be be extra fresh and buttery, you can do so. Simply mix the butter/oil with the kernels before adding them to the air fryer.

SHOULD I USE COOKING SPRAY ON THE POPCORN?

A light spray of cooking oil can help the kernels pop more evenly and add a bit of flavor. Just be cautious—too much oil can increase the smoke point and cause a fire hazard.

WHY DO I HAVE SOME UN-POPPED KERNELS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BASKET?

Some kernels may not pop due to uneven surface area or high temperatures. Try shaking the basket a couple of times during the cook time to reduce unpopped kernels.

CAN I PUT MICROWAVE POPCORN IN AN AIR FRYER?

No, it is not recommended to add pre-flavored and oiled microwave popcorn packets to the air fryer. It will burn the popcorn and leave many kernels up-popped.
