This creamy smoothie comes together in just a few minutes with only a few ingredients and its so good that you’ll want it every day for breakfast or dessert!
This smoothie tastes totally decadent, and I was almost tempted to call it a healthy peanut butter cup milkshake (which explains the whipped cream and chocolate shavings), but I like to think that calling it a smoothie makes it a perfectly acceptable breakfast option.

INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS DELICIOUS SMOOTHIE

- Frozen banana – a ripe banana will also work but you may need to add ice to make it thicker.
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Creamy peanut butter – almond butter, cashew butter, or any other nut butter will work as a replacement.
- Chocolate protein powder – I prefer using whey protein powder, but a plant-based protein powder, organic pea protein, or vegan protein powder work great as well.
- Unsweetned almond milk – soy milk, cashew milk, regular milk, or any non-dairy milk works.
