WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS NINJA CREAMI SUGAR COOKIE ICE CREAM

  • Unbeatable Flavor: It’s like eating your favorite cookie in ice cream form. Every bite is packed with buttery, vanilla goodness.
  • Perfect Texture: With the Ninja Creami, you get that smooth, creamy texture that’s just unbeatable compared to store-bought versions.
  • So Easy: Seriously, it’s super simple to make, especially with the Ninja Creami doing most of the work. This is gourmet ice cream without the gourmet effort.

SIMPLE INGREDIENTS YOU NEED FOR THIS DELICIOUS FROZEN TREAT

You will need the following ingredients listed below to make the creamy vanilla ice cream (the exact measurements, nutrition information and full recipe are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post):

  • Fairlife skim milk – can use milk of choice, however this one contains 14 grams of protein per serving. Whole milk can also be used.
  • Unsweetened almond milk – can use nut milk of choice here such as coconut milk, unsweetened oat milk, or cashew milk.
  • Sugar cookie protein powder – I love PEScience whey protein powder. Perfect to add some extra protein. Use code BAILEY at checkout to save money.
  • Vanilla Instant pudding mix – jello mix. Can use guar gum instead if desired.
  • Vanilla oreo cookies – can use teddy grahams or any type of vanilla cookie.
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Optional – vanilla bean paste, vanilla extract, heavy cream, chocolate chips, vegan cream cheese, peanut butter, etc.

HOW TO MAKE THE ICE CREAM BASE

  1. Add all ingredients except golden Oreos and sprinkles to the ninja creami pint container up to the max fill line and mix well with hand held frother.
  2. Freeze container for 24 hours until frozen solid.
  3. Remove frozen pint, run under hot water for 60 seconds and install into your machine. It’s important that your pint has a level surface, otherwise it can damage the blade.
  4. For the first spin, press lite Ice Cream button. Remove the outer bowl lid. If ice cream is still powdery, then add back to machine and press respin button.
  5. Check ice cream. The final product should be creamy and have a smooth texture. If your desired consistency isn’t reached you can add a bit more liquid and spin again on the respin setting.
  6. Add your golden Oreos and sprinkles and mix again using mix-in function. Enjoy!

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BEST RESULTS

1. Freeze Solid

  • Patience Pays Off: Ensure that the base is completely frozen before placing it into the Ninja Creami. If the base is too soft, the ice cream won’t churn properly and might turn out too soft or slushy.

2. Layer for Success

  • Even Distribution: When you add your mix-ins, try layering them throughout the ice for even distribution. Make a hole in the middle of the protein ice cream, and add the toppings from top to bottom. This way, you’ll get a bit of cookie in every bite!

3. Use the Re-spin Function Wisely

  • Re-spin for Perfection: If the texture isn’t quite right after the first churn, don’t hesitate to use the re-spin function. Sometimes a second churn can help achieve a creamier, smoother texture.

4. Check the Consistency

  • Peak Before You Eat: After the churn, check the consistency of the ice cream. If it’s too soft for your liking, you can freeze it for an hour or two before serving to firm it up.

FAQS

HOW DOES THE NINJA CREAMI MACHINE DIFFER FROM REGULAR ICE CREAM MAKERS IN TERMS OF FUNCTIONALITY?

The Ninja Creami Machine goes beyond the conventional by offering versatile functions, not just limited to ice cream. With its multiple capabilities, it allows you to create a variety of frozen treats, making it a game-changer in the realm of homemade desserts.

CAN I MAKE A SUGAR-FREE OR LOWER-SUGAR RECIPE?

Absolutely! For those looking to cut down on added sugar, using sugar-free pudding mix as a base and natural sweeteners like stevia or erythritol can make a huge difference.

You can also opt for sugar substitutes available at most grocery stores. Blend these with a little vanilla extract and your choice of cookies (many brands offer sugar-free versions) for a healthier take on this popular choice.

WHAT PLANT-BASED ALTERNATIVES CAN I USE IN THE NINJA CREAMI FOR A CREAMY TEXTURE?

For those interested in plant-based alternatives, using plant-based milks like coconut, almond, or oat milk can provide a creamy texture for your ice cream. Additionally, using a plant-based cream or even a small amount of xanthan gum can help emulate the richness typically provided by dairy.
