Simple Ingredients You Need For The Lemon Protein Gummies
You will need the following handful of ingredients listed below to make this delicious sweet treat (the exact measurements, nutritional information and full recipe are in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post):
- Lemon Italian Ice Clear Protein Powder from 1UP Nutrition โ use code BAILS at checkout to save 20% off all products. I absolutely love this Clear Protein as itโs like juice, but with protein, and doesnโt have any sort of weird chalky texture or flavor.
- Water โ to dissolve everything and help the gelatin set.
- Gelatin โ gives the gummies that chewy texture.

How To Make The Easy Protein Lemon Gummies
In a small saucepan, whisk together the water and protein powder until fully dissolved.
Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the top and let it sit for 2โ3 minutes to bloom.
Place the saucepan over low heat and stir continuously until the gelatin has fully dissolved (donโt let it boil).
Pour the mixture into lemon silicone molds or a parchment-lined dish.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the gummies are firm and set.
Pop the gummies out of the molds or cut into bite-sized pieces if using a dish. Store the gummies in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips And Tricks For Best Results
Always let the gelatin bloom before heating โ it gives the gummies the perfect chewy texture.
Keep the heat low and stir constantly so the protein powder dissolves smoothly without clumping.
Donโt boil the mixture โ high heat can ruin the texture and affect the protein.
Silicone gummy molds make popping the gummies out super easy (plus they look cute).
Store them in the fridge โ unless you want them more chewy then store at room temperature.

Storing Leftovers
Store your protein gummies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days to keep them fresh. Theyโll get a little more chewy if left out at room temperature, so it really depends on how you like them โ chilled for firm bites, or slightly softer if they sit out.
Faqs
Can I make these taste sweeter?
Definitely. Add a bit of honey, stevia, or flavored syrup to the mixture before setting. Can also use granulated monk fruit sweeter or white sugar to toss them in after they’re set.
Do I need the special molds?
Nope โ the lemon silicone molds I used are fun, but a lined baking dish works just as well if you’re not concerned about the shape. Just cut the gummies into squares once set.
What do these gummies taste like?
Theyโve got a sweet, tangy, fresh lemon flavor thatโs super refreshing โ kind of like a lemonade gummy with extra protein.
Can kids eat these lemon protein gummies?
Yes! Kids can enjoy them, but since theyโre made with protein powder, itโs best to treat them as a snack or sweet treat and not a replacement for meals.

Measure the ingredients carefully. The water should be warm, but not boiling. Whisk, whisk, and whisk some more to incorporate the powders. They turned out great! Next time I’ll add malic acid to give them a sour candylike taste.
These are great but donโt you have to divide the total caloric and protein by the amount of portions making each only a few grams of protein? (I made 24 like in your photo)
Hi Nora! Yes the calories and protein are for the ENTIRE batch! So you can adjust macros depending on your serving size! ๐
