HOW TO MAKE THE HEALTHY BUFFALO CHICKEN WRAP

  1. Start by making the Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip.
  2. Place the large tortilla on a flat surface. Add a spoonful of the spicy buffalo chicken mixture in the center – about the size of the tostada shell.
  3. Then add shredded cheese on top of the meat evenly. Top with tostada shell.
  4. Add a thin layer of ranch dressing (approximately a tablespoon of dressing), then top with the diced ripe tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
  5. Tightly fold the edges of the flour tortilla towards the center of the tortilla, creating pleats as you go.
  6. In a large nonstick skillet or a small saucepan, heat oil. Add crunch wrap folded side down and cook until golden brown over medium-high heat. This should take 2-3 minutes. Flip over to other side and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Continue with the remaining 3 and enjoy! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Use shredded chicken (leftover or rotisserie works great) for an even filling.
  • If you’re not into the texture of cottage cheese, blend it first for a creamier mix.
  • Adjust the spice by tweaking the buffalo sauce or adding Greek yogurt to tone it down.
  • When folding the crunchwrap, seal it tightly and cook seam side down on medium heat so it crisps up without burning.
  • Press with a spatula while cooking for even browning, and serve hot for the best crunch.
  • Reheat in a skillet or air fryer if needed!

    FAQS

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO REHEAT LEFTOVER BUFFALO CHICKEN CRUNCHWRAPS?

The best way to reheat leftover wraps is in a large skillet over medium heat or in an air fryer. Reheat for 15-20 minutes until they’re warm and crispy. You can also wrap them in tin foil and warm them in the oven to prevent them from drying out.

HOW CAN I PREVENT THE WRAPS FROM GETTING SOGGY?

To prevent the wraps from becoming soggy, avoid overfilling them and wrapping them in paper towels before placing them in the fridge. This helps absorb any excess moisture.
