HOW TO MAKE

  1. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper or wax paper and set aside.
  2. Melt the peanut butter and butter in a small pot over medium heat. Once everything is completely melted remove from stovetop.
  3. If you choose to do this in the microwave, ensure you’re using a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second increments. Stir the mixture and then microwave for another 30 seconds.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and the powdered sugar and mix well. It will be a thick batter.
  5. Press the peanut butter mixture into the prepared pan. Use the back of a spatula to press down and make everything even.
  6. Put in refrigerator to set for minimum 2-3 hours. Cut in 25 little squares and enjoy your homemade fudge!

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Use salted butter. It balances the sweetness and makes it taste like bakery fudge.

  • Work fast. Once the sugar goes in, it starts to set. Get it straight into the pan.

  • Too thick to spread? Lightly grease your spatula or press with parchment.

  • Want it sweeter/softer? Add 1โ€“2 tbsp extra peanut butter.

  • Want it festive? Add crushed peanuts, flaky salt, or a drizzle of melted chocolate on top before chilling.
