STORING LEFTOVER SORBET

  • Keep It Frozen:
Store the sorbet in the freezer at a consistent temperature. Avoid placing it in the freezer door where temperature fluctuations happen the most.
  • Shelf Life:
Homemade sorbet can be stored for up to 1-2 weeks. After that, it may start to lose its fresh, fruity flavor and creamy texture.
  • Re-spin for Best Texture:
When you’re ready to enjoy it again, let the sorbet sit out for a few minutes and run it through the “Re-spin” cycle on the Ninja Creami for that smooth, scoopable consistency.
  • Avoid Refreezing Too Often:
Repeated freezing and thawing can cause icy crystals to form, so only take out the portion you plan to enjoy.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Use Ripe Raspberries: The riper, the better—this keeps the flavor bold and sweet.
  • Lime Juice Love: A little lime juice goes a long way, so add it to taste for the perfect tartness.
  • No Sugar? No Problem: If you’re watching your sugar intake, feel free to skip the sugar or swap it for a sugar alternative like stevia.

FAQS

CAN I USE FROZEN RASPBERRIES OR FROZEN?

Yes! Frozen raspberries work just as well and make the process even more convenient. No need to thaw—just blend and freeze.

DO I HAVE TO USE LIME JUICE IN THIS NINJA CREAMI RASPBERRY SORBET RECIPE?

No, but lime juice adds a refreshing tartness that balances the sweetness of the raspberries. If you don’t have lime, you can substitute lemon juice or leave it out entirely for a sweeter sorbet.

WHAT DO I DO IF THE DELICIOUS SORBET IS STILL ICY AFTER SPINNING?

No worries! Just use the “Re-spin” function on the Ninja Creami to make it creamier. You can re-spin as many times as needed to get the perfect texture.

CAN I USE A FOOD PROCESSOR INSTEAD OF THE NINJA CREAMI MACHINE?

A food processor can purée the fruit, but the Ninja Creami ice cream machine is what transforms the mixture into a non-icy sorbet with a smooth texture. It’s worth the investment if you love making healthy treats!

CAN I MAKE A SUGAR-FREE VERSION OF THIS NINJA CREAMI RASPBERRY SORBET?

Yes! A sugar-free sweetener like monk fruit or stevia is a great way to keep it light and support an active lifestyle.

CAN I CREATE NEW SORBET FLAVORS?

Absolutely! This recipe is versatile—try combining raspberries with dark chocolate for a “Black Forest Cake” twist or experiment with high-fiber recipes by adding blended chia seeds.
