I made this once to see what the TikTok fuss was about, and now it’s the drink I reach for when I want coffee to feel like a treat. The viral teddy graham latte tastes like a graham cracker cookie dipped in espresso, sweet, cinnamony, and topped with crushed teddy grahams.

A teddy graham latte is an iced coffee drink made with espresso, honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon, topped with frothy vanilla milk and a handful of crushed teddy grahams. It went viral for tasting exactly like the honey-cinnamon bear-shaped cookies from childhood, except in latte form.

I make mine with monk fruit brown sugar and sugar-free vanilla syrup, so it leans a little lighter than the coffee shop version without losing the cozy graham cracker flavor. The crushed teddy grahams on top are the part that makes people smile.

Why You’ll Love This Teddy Graham Latte

  • It tastes like a graham cracker cookie. Honey, cinnamon, and brown sugar over espresso, exactly like the bear-shaped crackers from childhood.
  • Five minutes, no barista skills. Stir the sweet base, froth the milk, pour over ice, top with grahams.
  • It bends to your taste. Lighter with monk fruit, creamier with oat milk, or higher protein with a scoop of vanilla protein.

Ingredient Notes

Here’s what goes in and why. Exact amounts and the full printable recipe are in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  • Espresso โ€” the bold base that balances the sweetness. Cold brew or strong coffee work if you don’t have a machine.
  • Honey โ€” the natural, floral sweetness that gives it that real honey-graham flavor.
  • Brown sugar โ€” I use monk fruit brown sugar for the caramel depth with less added sugar. Regular brown sugar or coconut sugar work too.
  • Cinnamon โ€” the warm spice that makes it taste like the cookie. Mix it into the warm espresso so it dissolves instead of clumping.
  • Milk โ€” any milk works. Protein milk is what I use but oat milk is another great pick for the creamiest froth.
  • Sugar-free vanilla syrup โ€” a splash in the milk for that cafe-latte vanilla note.
  • Crushed teddy grahams โ€” the nostalgic, crunchy topping and the whole point. Add them right before sipping so they stay crisp.

How to Make a Teddy Graham Latte

  1. Mix the sweet base. In a glass, stir the monk fruit brown sugar, honey, and cinnamon into the warm espresso until everything dissolves.
  2. Froth the milk. Froth the cold milk with the vanilla syrup until light and foamy, using a frother or a sealed jar.
  3. Build it. Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in the espresso base, then slowly add the frothed milk.
  4. Top and sip. Sprinkle crushed teddy grahams and a little cinnamon over the top, give it a stir, and drink.

Tips

  • Dissolve the sweeteners in the warm espresso first. Honey and cinnamon clump in cold liquid, so mix them in while the espresso is still warm.
  • Add the teddy grahams right before drinking. They go soggy fast, so crush and sprinkle them just before you sip.
  • Use coffee ice cubes to keep it from watering down. Freeze leftover coffee in a tray and use those in place of regular ice.

Variations

  • Make it creamier: use oat milk or a splash of half-and-half.
  • Make it higher protein: froth a scoop of vanilla protein powder into the milk, and it tastes like a teddy graham milkshake.
  • Serve it hot: warm and froth the milk instead of icing it for a cozy winter version.

Make It Ahead

Make the espresso-and-sweetener base ahead and store it in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. When you want one, pour it over ice, add your frothed milk, and top with fresh teddy grahams. Hold off on the grahams until you’re ready to drink it, since they soften quickly.

FAQ

Can I make a teddy graham latte without an espresso machine? Yes. Strong brewed coffee, cold brew concentrate, or instant espresso all work in place of espresso shots.

Is the teddy graham latte gluten free? The latte base is, but classic Teddy Grahams are made with graham flour, so they are not gluten free. Use a gluten-free graham cracker or honey cookie crumble on top to keep the whole drink gluten free.

Can I add protein to it? Yes. Froth a half scoop of vanilla protein powder into the milk for a higher-protein version that tastes like a teddy graham milkshake.
