How To Make The Protein-Packed Gummies Recipe

  1. In a small saucepan, add the water and protein powder. Whisk well until fully dissolved. If using the malic acid to make sour gummies, whisk in now.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the top and let it sit for 2โ€“3 minutes to bloom.
  3. Place the saucepan over low heat and stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved (do not boil).
  4. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a parchment-lined dish.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  6. Pop out of molds or cut into bite-sized pieces. Store the sour gummies in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips And Tricks For Best Results

  • Donโ€™t skip blooming the gelatin โ€” it prevents clumps.

  • For sweeter gummies, add a little monk fruit or stevia before heating. Perfect for a sweet tooth.

  • Silicone molds make gummy removal effortless.

  • If you leave the gummies uncovered in the fridge for 1โ€“2 days, theyโ€™ll dry out slightly and become more chewy and candy-like, rather than soft and Jell-O textured.

  • For an extra nutrient boost, toss the finished gummies in vitamin powder once theyโ€™re set and dried.

Storing Leftover Strawberry Protein Gummies

Store gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For a firmer bite, leave them uncovered for the first day, then cover.
