Ninja Creami Mixed Berry Sorbet
Ninja Creami mixed berry sorbet made with 3 ingredients: frozen berries, water, and a little sweetener. Blend, freeze, and spin into a smooth, dairy-free frozen treat.

Three ingredients and a freezer overnight, that’s all that stands between you and a pint of the brightest berry sorbet. I keep a bag of frozen mixed berries in my freezer at all times now, purely so I can make this whenever the craving hits.
Ninja Creami mixed berry sorbet is a dairy-free frozen dessert made from frozen mixed berries, water, and sweetener, blended smooth, frozen for 24 hours, and spun on the Sorbet setting until it’s creamy and scoopable. The berry blend gives it that sweet-tart thing going on, and the color comes out a deep jewel red with zero food dye.
I’ve spun this in just about every berry combo my freezer has held, and the strawberry-blueberry-raspberry-blackberry mix is the one I come back to. If you want it to do a little more for you, a scoop of protein powder or collagen blends right into the base (more on that below).

Why You’ll Love This Mixed Berry Sorbet
- Real berry flavor without the sugar load of most store-bought sorbet, since you control exactly how sweet it gets.
- Naturally dairy-free and vegan, so it works for most diets at the table.
- About 5 minutes of hands-on work, the freezer does the rest overnight.
Ingredients You Need
- Frozen mixed berries โ the base and the star. A blend of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries gives the best sweet-tart balance and that deep color. Frozen works better than fresh here because it sets faster and keeps the color vivid.
- Water โ just enough to help everything blend smooth and reach the max fill line. You can swap in fruit juice or lemonade for more flavor.
- Sweetener โ berries run tart, so a little sweetener balances them out. Granulated sugar, monk fruit, or stevia keep the texture smoothest. Taste the base before freezing and adjust, since frozen sorbet always tastes less sweet than the blended mix.
- Protein powder or collagen (optional) โ a scoop blended into the base adds protein and a slightly thicker, creamier finish. PEScience Gourmet Vanilla protein powder is my go-to, code BAILEY saves you a bit.

How to Make Ninja Creami Mixed Berry Sorbet
- Add the frozen berries, water, and sweetener to a blender. Blend until completely smooth with no chunks left, big frozen pieces can damage the Creami blade later.
- Pour the berry mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line. Snap on the lid.
- Freeze flat for 24 hours on a level shelf, until the base is solid all the way through.
- Take the pint out, pop off the lid, lock it into the outer bowl, and press Sorbet.
- If it looks crumbly after the first spin, hit Re-Spin. Add a tablespoon of water and spin again if it’s still not smooth.
- Scoop and eat right away, that’s when the texture is at its best.

Tips for the Creamiest Berry Sorbet
Blend the base until it’s truly smooth before it goes in the pint. Any chunks of frozen berry left in the mix can catch the blade and leave you with an uneven spin.
Skip thick, syrupy sweeteners like honey or maple if you can. They throw off the texture and can leave it gummy. Granulated sugar, monk fruit, or stevia spin up the smoothest.
Freeze the pint dead level. A tilted pint freezes uneven, and uneven freezing is the number one reason a spin comes out icy on one side.
Run the outside of the frozen pint under warm water for about 30 seconds before installing it. That little bit of edge melt helps the blade catch for a creamier first spin.
A crumbly first spin is normal for fruit sorbets. One Re-Spin almost always fixes it, and a splash of water before the second spin gets it the rest of the way.

Variations to Try
Fresh berries โ you can use fresh instead of frozen, just freeze the blended base the full 24 hours so it sets solid before spinning.
Single berry โ go all raspberry, all strawberry, or all blackberry instead of the mix for one bold flavor.
Higher protein โ blend a scoop of vanilla protein powder or unflavored collagen into the base before freezing.
Citrus or herb โ a squeeze of lemon brightens the berries, and a few fresh mint or basil leaves blended in add a fresh twist.
Berry float โ drop a scoop into sparkling water or lemonade for a fizzy summer drink.
How to Store Mixed Berry Sorbet
Mixed berry sorbet keeps its best texture for 1 to 2 weeks in the freezer. After that it can pick up ice crystals and lose some of that bright flavor.
Store it right in the Ninja Creami pint with the lid on, and smooth the top flat with the back of a spoon first so it re-spins cleanly later.
When you want more, let the pint sit out a couple minutes, run it under warm water, and Re-Spin to bring back the fresh-churned texture. Only scoop what you’ll eat, since repeated thawing and refreezing is what turns sorbet icy.
Ninja Creami Mixed Berry Sorbet FAQ
Can I make this without a blender? Yes. Press the berries firmly into the pint with a heavy spoon or ladle to compact them and release some juice, top up to the fill line with a little water, then freeze and spin. The texture comes out slightly less uniform than the blended version, but it works.
Is Ninja Creami mixed berry sorbet healthy? This one is made from real fruit with no cream and no artificial flavors, and it’s naturally fat-free. Berries are high in fiber, and because you choose the sweetener and the amount, you control the sugar completely. Only 158 calories for the entire pint.
What’s the difference between sorbet and sherbet? Sorbet is fruit-based and dairy-free. Sherbet contains a small amount of milk or cream, which makes it a little richer and lighter in color. This recipe is a true sorbet, no dairy at all.
